This Month at Inner Solace

October is here. 🍂

There’s something about this time of year that can make life feel a little heavier.

Schedules shift. Daylight gets shorter. The holidays begin appearing on the horizon. Family relationships may become more complicated, grief can feel closer to the surface, and the things we’ve been carrying quietly don’t always stay quite so quiet.

This month, we’re making room to talk about it.

What Have You Been Carrying?

Throughout October, we’ll be exploring the emotional weight we don’t always notice: stress, expectations, caregiving, relationships, grief, boundaries, and the pressure to keep functioning when part of us really needs a moment to catch up.

We’ll also be sharing practical ways to care for your nervous system and create a little more breathing room as the season changes.

Follow along, read what speaks to you, and leave behind what doesn’t.

“But I’m Functioning Fine”

When You’re Struggling Without Falling Apart

Our latest article explores some of the quieter ways emotional overload can show up and challenges the idea that something has to become a crisis before it deserves your attention.

One question worth carrying with you:

Instead of asking “Is this bad enough?” try asking, “How long have I been carrying this?”
